I am currently a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Systems Engineering at the City University of Hong Kong, and I am working with Prof. Siyang Gao. Before that, I got my Ph.D. in Management Science and Engineering in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management at Peking University (PKU) and was advised by Prof. Jie Song. I also got my B.E. degree in Aerospace Engineering at PKU in 2019. I visited CMS (Computing and Mathematical Sciences) at California Institute of Technology as a visiting scholar (Dec. 2022 - Dec. 2023) and was advised by Prof. Adam Wierman.

Research Area

My research lies at the intersection of optimization and artificial intelligence (AI) for complex, data-driven systems. I aim to develop efficient, theoretically grounded algorithms by integrating tools from optimization, data science, and AI, with a particular emphasis on reinforcement learning, zeroth-order optimization, deep learning, and simulation-based optimization. My work is motivated by real-world operational challenges, with primary applications in demand-side management for low-carbon energy systems and supply chain operations.
